48 Hours to Save the World
We made the first cut! This year I was fortunate to produce and direct a short for the 48 Go Green 2012 competition with Director of Photography and Co-Producer, Michel Aboudib. In 48 hours we wrote, directed, & produced a film based on an assigned Go Green topic and incorporate a required prop, character, and line of dialogue into the film. Ours was "SAVE THE NEXT GENERATION", a notebook (prop), the character "T. Edward - Teacher" and "It is time to pause and reflect" (line). If you haven't seen it yet, check it out, it's short and sweet!
It feels great to make films for a cause. Being a person that recycles often and tries to find different ways to be energy efficient, "Go Green" was a project I enjoyed thourally. Lucky us, from all the films submitted internationally, we made the first cut as one of the TOP 45 FILMS!
Vote for us between today and March 25 online--our film is the first one in the bottom row labeled "The Hobgoblins - Change of Season". You MUST vote for 3 films for any of your votes to count. It takes two minutes to register and vote and your help is truly appreciated.
Congrats to the cast/crew on making it this far! Such a pleasure working with such professional and talented people. Stay tuned for more updates!
